I am not defined by what others think of me Not by my race, my face or what they think they see There are no boundaries to what I can become I am a musician, I beat my own drum
I am in charge of what I do in my life When there is red tape, I am a knife The will to succeed is not a strong wish I will not drown because I am a fish
If things don’t go well, I don’t beat my knuckles raw When a door closes, I am a saw Not a queen, nor princess, nor Lady Godiva But when I see a boulder, I’m a pile driver
So it doesn’t matter who’s in charge When I want to achieve something I go large I can become whatever I want to be I am a human and I am FREE.
