Tear Me Apart.

Gently remove the dark glasses,
Lift my chin, make me look at you.

Rip the blinds away, reach deeper into my mind.

Tear at all the walls to see every part of who I am.

Pull every piece out by the roots, break me down.

Then put them all together, stand back and see Me.

Let me know then if you have the strength to handle Me.

True, to be a poet shows strength of mind.
And you have a strength that people see.

Thank you for visiting me here in my second safest space.
