down on the corner

Credence clearwater revival an excellent group
they rocked the airwaves late sixties and seventies
nice tunes catchy jingles
talked about vietnam
talked about disasters
happy times and sad times
they harmonized well
a distinct drum beat
that kept going and going
lots of energy
down on the corner
out in the street
a wondferful tune
suzy q was another great tune
Long as I can see the light
and put a candle in the window
see if you can remember some tunes
and why did this group break up
all good

About this poem:
growing up during the vietnam war
it was the best of times
it was the worst of times
life goes on
they put a man on the moon
and they kept positive also
