You've altered my eating habits
What am I gonna do
Apple, Cucumber, and a sliced
Chilli too

Toasted as a toastie
I only made, just two
I didn't add the cheese
I substituted with green
Chilli, twas tasty & mean

A lovely combination
I had never tried before
But yum, yum
Filled the tumm
I even looked for more

But disciplined I'll be
I threatened not,
To eat too much
Today for my tea.


I remember years ago
When at primary School
My Mum discovered
A new combo sandwich fill
Raisins with curry powder
I remember the taste still

Walnut and apple another
Tempting taste
Corned beef, Onion & Tomato sauce
Used as a paste
Through a blender as a spread
Thickly on a lump of bread

Thank you my dear
For adding to my palate

Twas a lovely combination
The flavour lingers on
The sweetness of the apple
And the spike of Chilly too
