Already watching Thanksgiving and Christmas movies. I started off with Charlie Brown's Thanksgving and also watched the best of Saturday Night Live's Best Thanksgiving sketches.
Next week brings Groundhog Day on Friday, February 2 and a lunar eclipse at 6 am on January 31, which is also a blue moon as it is the second full moon of January. We have another blue moon coming in March.

Trying to bring Rudolph's experience into the way kids who are different are treated in school today.
I haven't sat on Santa's lap in about 40 years. Back then I was too afraid of him to say much.
I wish I had a snowflake net to take a snowflake crystal home with me, to gaze upon it's beauty and hold forever in my hand without it's melting ~
Hoping the women on C/S get their Christmas Wish!
Rudolph is one of my favorite characters from Christmas and only second to Santa.

I colored my Easter eggs this morning.
I've seen all of these many times, when there is a movie with more than one release, I gave the original date, the original Hitcher was released in 1986. I would have watched it, but Netflix discontinued their dvds through the mail, something I have had since 2011.
I spent almost five hours carving pumpkins today, the website for the patterns is zombiepumpkins.com, for five dollars, you get 20 patterns, they have a lot of really good patterns, tomorrow I'm carving Darth Vader and King Kong. Happy Halloween everybody!
I have to go to my Dad's grave the day before Easter and inter my Mom's ashes above my Dad's grave with my sister and my Dad's two sisters. It sits on a bluff above the city of Dubuque, Iowa. You can see the grave yard and my uncle's flag pole when you cross the Mississippi River going from Wisconsin.
I was lucky enough to be off work today so I could get a few garage sales in. I asked a woman I bought a joke book about Norwegians if she was, she laughed and said she was Swedish.
There are some real heart warming shows and movies about Christmas, this one definitely warms the heart.
Just remembering my years of TV watching till 1987 when we got our first VCR, 2004 brought DVD, and then in 2021 I got my first cell phone.

I miss my Mom and I'm grateful
I try to go to every Dairy Days Parade and sometimes I get to go to the Belmont parade. My next parade will be in WI Dells next Sunday. I will go the Homecoming Parade here in town for the university on October 15.
Stephen King just celebrated his 75th birthday on September 21. I enjoy his first novel of Carrie, which as you know, ends rather badly.
I buy a baked strawberry pie every year and watch Steven King's Thinner
The Shining has some of the best acting of any movie by Shelley Duvall and Jack Nicholson
I have been watching horror movies for Halloween. I have seven days left to watch them and read my collection of scary books. My favorite from my childhood being The Pumpkin Giant.
I love this movie as it deals with thing that many people struggle with, gluttony lust pride covetousness anger envy, and sloth.
There are also songs with a dark nature to them that could be included like Sweet Dreams by Eurthmics or Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson.
I was watching Soylent Green with Charlton Heston and thought of a commercial for these wafers set in the year 2022, about three years from now. In the movie, New York City has a population of 40 million people. Tokyo has the largest metropolitan population at 32 million, New York City has a metropolitan population of 19 million people.
My sister is doing basically what we did to Japan in 1945, getting revenge for neglect of her and her children and grandchildren by taking mom out of her home and away from her grandson and greatgrandson, and her great granddaughter, when she is brave enough to visit.
I listen to many songs related to the Fourth of July, Voices That Care from the 91 Iraq and Kuwait War, and God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood, American Pie by Don McLean is another good one.
