Yesterday we met for the first time, no not face to face...His voice like a snake charmer...I was so desperate for just a word to make feel like a desirable woman and oh boy did he have an arcenal...he kept firing them...my body began to get warm and felt like I was on fire...feelings that were dormant for years starting rear their head...my mind was telling me stop ...but now I was so close to edge...sheer joy and fireworks exploded...When it was over..chatter in mind began, how could you be so stupid...all I could tell myself ..it felt so good...then shame began...I was naked and I heard a voice ...call my name and asked.. Where are you..?? What have you done?? I replied Replied I donot know!! Today he called but I didn't answer...I am good for another couple if years. Made my repentance...Now I will focus on my soul once again.

Where there is air
there is a radio dial
I recall as a child
out in the country
tuning in Sydney 2SM
on our big aerial
for music seldom heard
at home, oh what a
mystery from foreign shores
it came. Rock, rock
Uriah Heep
Deep Purple
taking the teenager away.
These days I seldom listen
to the radio, even though
no visual is actually enticing.
Do you still?

She said no.
The whys do not matter.
Neither do I.
We are not together.
Neither Shakespeare
nor Schroedinger's Cat
can change her mind.
Neither can I.
She is beautiful.
I am alone.

Had you told me yesterday
I would not be waiting on tomorrows tears
The silence of your precious heart
Is still ringing in my ears
Such a distant goodbye
As you drove down the road
The smoke from your old car
Has left a giant scar as it strangled my soul
Now a man of solid blue
Is what I'll always be
Had you told me yesterday
Now I'll always remember that's when you turned twenty three
Tractor broke down in the garden
Clothesline on the ground after a strong wind
Had you told me yesterday
I would never see you again

A hug and a warm embrace
Still searching far far away
Journey into our past
We make our own time
Over the winter day
We were once so close
Near to the fire burning
Tearing us away from other
My tears still burning
In my sleep I’m turning
Out there on the ice
One side keeps learning
On the other side somehow
Still my heart is yearning
Set it free and apart
See it free falling now
Don’t leave me alone
Pull me closer to your heart
I won’t drift away from you
Looking for a fresh start
A clean break away soon
Into our own time follows

The time has come
No, you can't be taken
The dawn is here
At last, awaken.
Raise your vibe and manifest
The reality that serves you best
Elevate meditate, let go of fear
It's time is over; no purpose here
Empower thee, and take a stand
The spiritual war, is now at hand
Warrior spirit, I invoke in thee
That you claim your birth right...
To be FREE!

Down 'pon the riverside
where the gentle rhythms flow
John's dunkin' 'em for the baptisms
and all the folks dressed in whites
is smiling and hawing
'cos John, he bein' old school
puts them in real good
just like Father Cleetus
used to do with bible in one hand
and other hand straight up in the air
a lightning rod for God
be that man
for a soul caint resist
a little saving
in these parts
as the rains came down
to wash the sinners
and me and Leroy
made for shelter
But John he got his eye in
and calls unto me
for never he seen a soul
more'n need of releasin'
from the evils that a man do
than this 'un
And little Leroy's laughin'
from the bank
but I'm waist in
and John opens the good book
and says
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. Psalm 1:1
Was you mocking me from the banks son?
You and that good for nuttin' sinner Leroy
Take a gulp of the good water son
And down I go
heavin' and howling
in the mighty hands of John
while on the bank
the sisters are singing
Awake my soul
and the thunder cracked
and day became night
and just as sure
the evil done left me
and a soul
that had withered
to a stick
was replenished
so surely
and John's mighty hands
done lift me from the river
and unto me he says
All flesh will see the salvation of God Luke 3:6

I ate at a buffet last night
It is called Castle Rock
They have an all you can eat fish
Which is all I can eat on Friday during Lent
It cost me 40 dollars(for me and a friend)
I gave a ten dollar tip
I gave two extra dollars over the 20 percent you are supposed to give
My mom used to be a waitress at Friedman's
It closed down in 2000
The buffet is almost exactly the same
So I got a visit from my Dad last night in a dream
He didn't say anything
But it's been over a year since I last dreamed about him
I got a visit for the price of a gift to a friend and a gift to a waitress

About this poem:
I have to go to my Dad's grave the day before Easter and inter my Mom's ashes above my Dad's grave with my sister and my Dad's two sisters. It sits on a bluff above the city of Dubuque, Iowa. You can see the grave yard and my uncle's flag pole when you cross the Mississippi River going from Wisconsin.
