Gotta have faith n trust the process
Especially when negativity gives the test
Fight that stress n depress n the undesirableness
With joy n happiness
But how?
When all around energy like bloodhound bringing ya down n bringing ya down
But is it bringing you down really?
Could it be that you and me let these things and people into our energy and allow them to infiltrate our heart n soul which breathes so much Love that that mistrust n unjust hurts so much that now you're down
Now you wear a frown
Rolls the eyes again
Let boys be boys n men be men
In these times of politically correct
Show some respect
For the girl woman lady Princess n Queen
Stars that shine on purpose n with mean
What's to come already has been
Back to how about this joy n happiness
Perception tweak to overstand this stress
It's not you it's them with their issues
Give them the smallest box of tissues

Jamaica fare
she gave me rest
my cinnamon girl
in cushioned repose
telling me tales
tall
as the high masts
of the seagoing clipper
paintings
on her walls
every sailor
tethered there
on her long lines
Jamaica fare
steel drum and ganja
rhythm divine
in the darkness
she would whistle
the harder they come
the harder they fall
one and all
my cinnamon girl

She was very intelligent
I was just an ordinary guy
She was beautiful and elegant
I was much too shy
Now I see how it has to be
I'll stop the prayers I started to pray
Though my intentions were tenderly

Life's a b*tch cos things switch
Like feeling fine then got a stitch
Is it something you ate?
Something you did create?
You are what you eat
Energy is energy
Make it friend or frenemy
This is like ridiculous to put into words that to most sound absurb and to others bitter like lemon curd, but this shepherd of a flock is gonna herd with nouns adjectives n verbs
Can you hear?
Can you feel the real of this real?
Like when a banana peel
And reveal its naked flesh
Is there a reason to be embarrassed?
What you got to hide?
Pain, upset or malice?
Pass the chalice
Let's all get high
No weed in this pot only the breath of life

Definitely don't shout
Look around n about
Take a taste n embrace this place like no time to waste
Tomorrow you may not be breathing
Mek sure a positive mark you are leaving
Behind
Like our ancestors done dat daily grind
To shine some light for the blind
Me personally am giving thanks
Full of gratitude on every level n latitude
I'm justa dude
Trying to piece this shit together
Whatever the weather mek sure I endeavour to make it a pleasure
For all that come into my zone
You will never hear me moan or groan
Like I keep saying everywhere is home

I recall a poem in my language, tried to keep the same meaning while doing translation
Stuff To Do In October
Eat pumpkin Reese's
Eat apple pie
Eat apple cider donuts
Golf off women's tees when the leaves are yellow and orange
Go to homecoming parade and Platteville Pioneer's football game
Watch horror movies especially Child's Play
Look at all the colorful leaves
Scrape first frost off windows of car
Carve pumpkins
Decorate for Halloween
Eat strawberry pie while watching the movie Thinner
Have a Happy Halloween!

I miss dressing up as a sleestak from Land of the Lost or Dracula and running from house to house to get candy. My favorite as a kid was the minirolls of Life Savers.Moth joke
A moth goes into a podiatrist's office
The podiatrist asks "How can I help you sir?"
Moth: "Well you know how it goes, I've been married to the same Mrs Moth for 30 years, and we just go through the motions, I feel any spark has long ago gone..
Podiatrist:" Aha.."
Moth: "And my kids have all grown up and flown, one got pregnant to a moth I don't like and the other threw in his college education and joined a commune. I just feel like life isn't delivering for me anymore.."
Podiatrist: "I see, it does sound like you need to talk to a psychiatrist, why did you come in to see me?"
Moth: "Well, the light was on.."
