Just look around in the media and in your environment....especially the divorce rates. We are still very a very primitive race controlled by our desires and egos....not everybody, but most...especially the people running our institutions.The fact is that we are instinctive beings with hormones and pheromones. It's very powerful and can take over our minds from time to time. So looks is part of the equation, as well as chemistry and just that intuitive feel that lasts through the challenging times.
