I have a Korean Dragon on my right forearm,,,,I have a english dragon within a circle "ring" on my left shoulder. I have a sword that is in the center back the sword has a serpent around it and a single rose.
really?? for some reason I had it in my mind you would not like a tatoo. just goes to show,,you just never know about some things , some times..lol thanks.
I have no problem with an attractive,small sized tattoo,located in the right place,as i have. Even so,i wouldnt judge a person just because they have tattoos,thats just an imature outlook.

Your tatoos sound attractive, especially in terms of longevity. I think itcan be quite difficult to choose tatoos that age with you and historical art lends itself to timelessness in this context.
But then you're an arty and thoughtful person, so I'd expect yours to be well chosen.

why thank you Jac, that is very thoughtful of you to say. ;-}
Dear Jac, Did you ever think about getting a tattoo or did you get one? I was in my 30's when I first got one. At one point in time I never dreamed I would get one. ;-}
Merriweather: The thing that I have never understood, these people seem to find $$ for tats, but dont have any to feed themselves with??Wots with that ??
I suppose I had the money but really did not want to pay so much for the tattoo I got on my forearm. I became friends with a couple that he was very good at tattooing and his partner, she was a piercer. She had dreadlocks and asked me one day what she could do about her hair. I kind of matter of factly said "Why don't I just comb them out". Well, she looked at me in disbelief but a week later I spent 6 hours straight combing out her dreads. The deal was I would get the Tattoo in trade for combing out her hair. We were both happy and she did not have to shave her head like so many other hairstylists said was her only option. So, I was pretty happy the way everything turned out on that one. ;-}

I've thought (here we go again ) about it, but I don't think I will. I doubt I would want something enough that I would like to carry with me all of my life. I do have piercings, though.
My daughter would like a tattoo, but I've refused to give parental permission. She can get one when she's 18, but I've done my best to persuade her to go for one that fades in a few years, so that she can evolve her tastes in these years of rapid change.
Maybe I just have lots of change still to go.
I think having permanent ones are best done past the teens and twenties, like you have done. For me, maybe I'll get one if I reach three score years and ten.

Hi Nikogas
sounds like a good deal with me... but I should have posted the reply button, as I was answering the Aussie fellas post.
So you are good with hair...
Too bad you are miles away... but back on the topic,
I would not allow my kids to get tats, only because I wanted them to focus on their studies when they were growing up.. and not on body art, my 36 yr old finally got a tat in Bali a couple of months ago... I reckon I dont have much of a say in it any more...
