Since I was born I´ve relocated 5 times between 3 different countries (and languages) but never for a relationship!!
And now ... just the thought of upping sticks again makes me come out in hives!!

I do not want to be more than an hour - 1 &1/2 hrs drive from my sons
I have been uprooted and tossed about a good bit over the last 2-3 yrs so I need some stability right now
so I generally do not seriously pursue LDR candidates

That's funny, that's the only thing that was clean when I moved to my husband's house. It took me good three months to make the place sparkle...

He´d be either visiting friends and got lost amongst the cobbled narrow treets ... OR he could have just bought somewhere in or near the village and .... got lost amongst the cobbled narrow streets... OR he could be a musician giving out leaflets about his new concert 
... OR I might pop out for a tea/coffee and there he is sitting in one of the sunny terraces 
... OR I could go to a local friends party and he´s one of the guests 
... OR we could just bump into one another while I´m out buying bread and milk

2intrigued: It would be difficult for me to relocate for many reasons...one really needs to know for certainty that the relationship will work out over the long haul...this is a really tough one to answer
and of course there are no certainties!
