I'm single. I have dated a non white before though. Thankfully, the company I keep and my family would merely pat me on the back at the news I was with someone of a different race.

Nessa7: Being a fellow South African .... I have dated people of other race groups ... I think it comes down to love if it is between the white/light and dark/black whatever you wana call it .... If they are inlove and happy to be together then who cares about society .... Love has no boundaries .... Its people that have a complex about themselves that constantly want reassurances .... Give it up ... If the person likes you they like you ... If they don't they don't ... Its probably Coz of insecurities like this that pushes people away ....

I think Japtas needs to spill the beans ..... Is there some female of another race he fancies .... And she doesn't feel the same about him .... Maybe its not Coz he is mixed race but maybe deeper .... I am sure there are people of our own race that wouldn't want to date us ...... Then what do we blame on then ...... To me .... if you as an individual is a good soul .... And if people can't see beyond that then too bad ....

its a personal choice in my opinion, if someone says they dont like sky diving but never tried it because of a fear of hights or vertigo you cant realy tell them how can you tell if you havent tried it.
if you dont like the way certain cultures look or act then dont force it, you might end up hurting someone. and that to me is a bigger injuctice than not wanting to try.

I don't think people could be forced to date another race ... Maybe force not to sounds more of the norm .. But force to ... It with be stupid of the person who just had to date another race Coz he was force too ... At the end of the day .... Its all about love and relationship ... No love no relationship ...

I'm going to stick to dating people. Although dating my dog would have advantages. She wouldn't talk back, wouldn't care if I had too many beers. But there is just something about a woman that draws me.

My opion for interracial dating is this. As long as both of you are culturely aware of who you are ethincally, and you are not being with this person just because he or she is from another race without love, or just the fact that this other person from a different race go ahead and "DO THA DAM THANG".
