Really? I have all my credit cards paid off; my car just about paid off, and my house. Guess what; never had a man pay a single cent to my debts. I did it all on my own. So if women are relying on you to be their local bank; then you are with the wrong women.

Exactly! If the OP doesn't like women running up bills on his credit card then he shouldn't give it to her. If she is using her own card, then it's up to her to pay it off, not him, so it's not his business.

I would never dream of "taking" someone elses credit card and using it without his permission. (Plus he would have to tell me the pin number). Surely it is possible for a man to tell a woman that he isn't comfortable with her using his credit card.

I would wonder if somewhere along the way there was an attempt made to buy her affection by his generosity, followed by resentment when things didn't work out the way he hoped.
