dunno if id call it baggage to be honest its more experience for future relationships. i learnt what i do and dont want from a relationship from my previous ones and also learnt i wont just settle for the first fella that pays me attention anymore. that said i wont be jumping into another relationship till im sure im ready to

No, he managed to kill that completely
It did show me something about meeting the right person, it was right for a long time and I would only start something again if it feels "right" with someone again.
But there's no going back for me as he became a different person and I refuse to live in the past anyway.
There's only one way for me and that's forward.

Yes, I think it is natural to carry some baggage, especially the older you get. We learn something from every relationship we have and that can be good or bad. If you don't think you are carrying baggage you are only fooling yourself. jmo

I agree, it's just up to us how we deal with it, I wouldn't do it to myself and someone else to start dating if I'm not ready, it just would end up in a mess and I wouldn't want to to this to someone. But that's just me.
