1Bell4truth: it depends on what world you live in. I see more and more women taking a back seat and the men mommying. So naturally if these couples break up it is the woman that pays the child support. And yes court ordered. It seems the only way child support is rendered now a days is with a court order. It really is quite easy if one does not want to be in this position then don't have children. It is not a magic act. I have not checked your profile to see how old you are but this really seems a little out dated "The world will always expect a higher level of accountability from men." and maybe it is not the world you live in but the time you grew up in.
I hear what you are saying but still believe what I said to be true overall. In the workplace men are written up or suspended for conduct that women employees get away with. If the police show up at a man's house because a woman has made a complaint, it doesn't matter who owns the house--the man has to leave. In child custody cases where the split couple aren't married, the judge sides with the woman. It doesn't seem to matter that SHE'S also NOT married. (A greater accountability is expected and demanded from men). You are right, there are couples where the woman pays the support, but it is nowhere near even. It is still very rare. Men are held to a higher standard.

yes if the child is yours the child is yours , BUT if the woman trys to use the innocent baby as leverage and by jesus they often do and get away with it . stand firm . too many men give up too easy . it suits the courts and welfare and many other minions of the staate to denigrate the man as a sap and weak bystander .50 50 nothing less . absolutly nothing less .

1Bell4truth: Read the whole thread. And ya aren't going to like what I gotta say. Both should be held responsiable for the child. If you don't want a baby you do what you are suppose to do not to have one. Otherwise pay the piper. Two consenting adults is what I am talking about. So we can take from this if you are going to sleep with someone who has a deceptive nature put on a rain coat. If you say you did not know her to be deceptive then put on a damn raincoat you don't know her that well if you did not know that she was deceptive. Take percautions to prevent it. Put the blame where it belongs with the person who did not want children and yet did nothing to prevent it. Have a nice day

thumbs up thumbs up abso -fracking- lutely

this has been said on here earlier in the thread but I think you did the best job of making this point clear

I hate whiners who are happy to unzip and run crying that the consequences are someone else's fault. grow up.

The bickering, and all out war by some, should be put aside, for the responsibility and obligation to the child makes everything else pale into comparison.
