Have never met anyone from this site in person. It's mostly (for me) for finding friends. I have met men on different dating sites and have had several boyfriends from those sites. Right now am dating a man from a different site. So online dating sites do work if that's the answer you are looking for. teddybear

I have,

met one guy, became good friends, dated for a while, but no longer in touch,

Met Solticemoon, and is now one of my closest friends here in Spain, met a few others via the CS meet a couple of years ago, a few I still keep in touch with,

Man I met the man that is gonna have me crushing on him for ages.Closest I was to him was three hours away but,I didn't have a way to get over there to him.Seeing him on Skype for the first time was magical.But,even once I get into the Navy and I'm actually able to see him I can't really do anything cause he's takencrying So yes does three hours away count?banana

I am fairly new on here this time around, but have been on this site previously. I only stayed on it then because of the forums - as far as I'm concerned you have more chance of being hit by lightning than meeting anyone through CS. I've sent flowers & messages & not even got the courtesy of a "thanks, but no thanks"

Yes and it was an eye opener for me. We tried to remain friends. Sadly that was not to be. We were so different in person. Things that you could never see through emails or skype.

Yes, I have had several dates from on-line sites. Two I had relationships with, one over 6 months, the othe a few years.

The others were great guys, great dates, but the chemistry was not there. Yes, I wsould meet them again for coffee or a meal and feel quite comfortable.

Went a good few (first and only) dates from here. 2 nice guys, the rest dunno doh Some guys try to use it as a line up for ONS, some lied about their age, and some are just phychos...uh oh
Made some (email) friends from here but don't do much dating of this site anymore.

I've just had the pleasure and honor to spend almost 2 months with a gorgeous CS Member and became truly friends.
I better don't think about where it all could have lead if the timing hadn't been off.

I've met and dated one lady from the site. She was really nice, but there was an incident and he had a fight with her daughter about me, so Thought I was better for me not to be blamed or resented for disrupting the bond between mother and daughter, so fell on my own sword so to speak.

Met a group in Dublin, most have vanished from the site, and had a meal with someone after work one day who had just returned to the country. She's a nice lady as well, so clearly the fellas on the website aren't contacting her because she's single and posts on the forums!

As for me, dating anyone else, I'm not sure I'm suitable at the moment for dating. More friend material, or better still available to groom a friendly womans pets and just go out with as friends.

I've also got a friend and have seen people on the website who can attest to there being psychos on the website as the Irish Lady posted above.

Now she looks nice bright and friendly, so the men that contacted her must be nuts as well?
