I have seen plenty of supernatural events, none of which were unexplained or 'freaked me out'. I am a practising occultist, so I understand such things. I have also been blessed with a modest degree of clairvoyance and an ability to see and speak with spirits. Fear is caused by lack of understanding.
Several times,it is true that people fear something they can not control, when it comes to the unexplained, but to me it is easy to be explained because I am a believer as well.
Yes, I can see and have many experience. The rule that u must remember about that : If you weak or scare, they will become strong. But if you strong, they will become weak. Always remember that we life together with unseen world, that we must always respect them.

I was on a train with my daughter when she was small, passing a derelict hotel we'd passed many times before.
"The hotel's burnt down", she said.
"No its not," I said, "Its just derelict."
She insisted repeatedly it had burnt down, whatever I said.
During the night, just a few hours later, it burnt down.
People would find her unnerving at times. I just thought she was perceptive and picked up on information that the rest of us were too unobservant to notice.
I don't know if this qualifies but sometimes when I am asleep - in twilight sleep - just before waking I hear my deceased mother's voice calling my name as loud and clear as if she was in the nest room

no, not in the least - she was generally a pushover from a child's perspective in hindsight. she was a high school english teacher, quite active socially, and well educated, well liked, friendly
she did not spend a lot of time with me, but every now & then we'd have those "talks" about who knows what and more....
I was not able to see her in recent years and was not able to visit her before she died. in fact I think she waited for me to call her (return my sister's call) and hear my voice on the night she died because she died shortly after the call ended.

jac379: Then why would hearing her voice be scary?
it is unexpected.
it startles me which is a similar physical reaction to fright - it lasts a mere second or so. I doubt it is paranormal. I think I was probably dreaming or my brain is playing memory tapes

I was going to say, exactly that...it can be startling when our brains play memory tapes of that intensity.

My toddlerhood, up to the age about three was quite weird, with rooms appearing to change dimensions alarmingly fast, strange creatures floating in and out, wakened dreaming, distortion of objects. It all seemed quite natural to me at the time and passed after that

Apparently, babies brains aren't hard-wired, so they're able to smell colours, see sounds and the like. You're probably just remembering some of that cognitive development.
If you start looking into areas of psychology which look at cognitive development, or anomalies, it doesn't seem quite so paranormal any more. For example, its believed that while something like 94% of the nerves from the eyes follow one neural pathway, about 6% go off in a different direction. Disconnection case studies where people have had some sort of brain trauma have shown that if the 94% pathway has become disconnected rendering the person sightless, they still may be able to point to objects in the room that they can't see, as the 6% of nerves have remained intact.
Its thought (at least was when I was studying all those years ago) that the 6% gives us that 'sixth sense' and it would explain how we become aware of someone watching us, even though we may not see them and have to turn to seek them out visually.
Its also thought that it may give us a sense of 3 dimensional reality. In another case study, a patient appeared to have a disconnection with the 6% pathway, while the 94% remained intact. He could see things, but was so convinced of a lack of reality he cut his own father's head off to prove that he was an android and not a living being.

Hey, I was only three at the time, but your reply is accurate ----------psychologically speaking----
