I think Marriage historically was a social contract between a man and a woman. I think its a waning institution and its main purpose is to help to keep people together who might be inclined to stray otherwise. I have never felt the desire to incorporate it into my past relationships. However I never say never and don't rule it out. My Uncle says's that marriage is one of the main reasons fr divorce.
I would have to consider the financial situation of a possible wife. An awful lot of women are up to their ears in debt with mortgages and other loans.
I was once an idealist, Pedro. You know, Career, then get a woman and have my planned kids within the confines of the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony. But two lads from Cork and my own research indicated to me the dangers and risks associated with a cross such as marriage. So I'm going to adopt from some mad place like Albania or Kerry or somewhere. Or go the surrogacy route. It'll only cost about $200,000 for a brace of kids which would probably be cheaper than marriage over the course of 20 years anyways.
