Speaking from my own personal experience.....I know I am not a beautiful or even pretty woman. I'm not petite or slender and never have been. I have been on many sites paid and free and have been totally snubbed, ignored, or just made to feel insignificant. On one sight I emailed over 100 guys and only 2 even acknowledged that I had contacted them. On another site I've contacted over 50 men and had no responses what so ever at all. Now, I'm not going after guys that are way out of my league, movie star looks, affluent men, not drop dead gorgeous guys and we have lots of things in common. I fall into their age and distance range and what they are looking for in a woman and companion. You will never convince me that looks and body shape doesn't matter cause I know it does. Too many judge the book by the cover and choose not to explore what's inside. I just tell myself it's their loss. I'm a great person and have a lot to offer to someone.
Yes, you have a right to chose to meet or get to know someone, but I just feel people are getting more and more shallow. Yes, you see lots of average joes and janes with someone and I think they are lucky cause someone took the time to get to know them. Just my humble opinions.

Made my day! To date, I have met in person and liked one good woman from the CS forums but, as usual, I wasn't her type evidently.

We love someone and we are loved, it's just often not by the same person. Best of luck next time.

so good of you to send out so many contacts - keep up search - the right one will eventually respond - I find it a bit daunting too because a lot of men my age are able and are looking for a women 10 years younger.
