I've cussed in the forums on occasion. Where you go wrong is when you get mistaken for a tourettes sufferer.. once it infects your very being you'll start exhibiting a range of nasty symptons related to a condition called boganitis; deliberately letting off audible farts at unsuspecting passers-by is one. Going out for a stroll, your flanno and trackpant ensemble immediately detracts from the streetscape. People will hastily avoid eye contact and step around, if not altogether cross the road, to get past you.

When im with my wifes sister out in the car on a date i do cus a lot .
But if asked in company i always deny that i swear .

I swear a lot more than I should. It has it's perks though, as I have a swear jar that's nearly full

My friend's 2 kids do that with their dad.

How much does he swear?
I buy my parents something with my jars. Can't use it to treat myself, as that would betray the object of it. My partner gets treated anyway, so it's all my parents.
I blame my Dad. He swears too much, and I picked it all up.

I very rarely cuss when I speak German.
Problem is, when I moved to Ireland, I was working, living and socialising with Irish people - good in a way, because I got into speaking English fairly quickly, the bad thing was, that the (male) friend I shared a house with put the "f" word in every sentence.
I have some quite "Irish" expressions in my vocabulary.

Carmengetme: If my friend suddenly stopped swearing, I'd seriously think there was something ailing her. It's just part of who she is, and I definitely don't think anything less of her for cussing....in fact, I love that part of her. It's endearing in a strange way..
Yea, that's how I feel about him too. He just wouldn't be the same without it
