yes, because i did.
years of daily contact (cs, private email, IM, skype), years of acceptance and support for each other, we shared a deep love and respect for each other. as well as shared laughter and secrets, we taught each other many things, helped each other recognize our strengths, and helped each other through many difficult times.
we used to joke that 'we loved each other with our pants on'..
some folks just have that wonderful ability to bring awareness of love out in another. love teaches love.
and when he died, i felt that loss on every level.
time and distance only have the meaning you give to them.
i miss you buddy.

It is possible to think you are in love with someone over a period of time... but until you meet them. You just never know.. I use to believe in fairytales when I was little... but realize that it is just a fairytale... fantasy.... There are some that sit on sites and do conversations for 2 years and make promises after promises but never fall through.. This should tell you something... and after the 2 years they say one more year and you wonder why they chase someone that is real... mmmmmmmmmmmmmm ! So no I don't think it is possible.....

Absolutely! In fact I wonder if falling in love or loving is not even more possible online than offline. As Jac commented earlier, it's sometimes easier to share intimate parts of yourself through the written or spoken word than it is when in each other's physical presence. A sharing of the mind and soul may lead to a deep love that may or may not later find expression in physical intimacy.
I'm a novice when it comes to love, be it online or offline, so not too sure of anything
