I think if you asked a male Defence Personnel 'If you were in combat and in trouble - who would you rather have by your side, a male or female colleague??'

Sorry ladies but I think the answer might be 'male'?

Same with Police, if you were on Sat nt duty at the local Club scene, drunk, violent patrons spilling on the streets - a 5'4" can't be as effective as a well built, 6'2" guy?

From the bizarre and prejudiced retorts posted here, it makes me wonder if even one male here has ever served in any conflict that involved close interaction or actual combat with female soldiers. Perhaps a visit to the training facilities for both regular forces and commando units of Israel would open some eyes and minds, same for South Africa. Rhodesia had an excellent force of women soldiers and 'militia'. Quite a few saw action during the guerrilla war between the mid 60's until 1978. Pistols, automatic riles, RPG's, hand-to hand and even mortars. The so called infamous Colonel Qadaffy of Libya, had women warriors both for show and for combat. The combat force was quite deadly and excellent for night ops, in both infiltration and close quarter combat using knives. When employed against the army of Chad they took quite a toll at night in the desert, back in the 70's and many went to serve in various groups alongside Arabs fighting against Israel.
There have been rumours for years that China has some all female killer squads(trained by killing condemned prisoners) as with a few others. Several of the 'terrorist' groups in the 70's and 80's also had female soldiers taking part in their attacks , both affiliated with the Palestinians and IRA.
Having seen some of these in action can be enough to chill the blood. Female warriors are just as deadly as the males and they have the psychological edge to cause real problems for the male soldiers facing them in combat. Never, ever, doubt women's capacities in a military conflict. They are incredible, either as soldiers or guerrilla fighters. Women, always a surprise...

Assuming that the military is equal for men and women, what can't a woman do that a man can?

Remember, we have had women generals
And women are now allowed to be on the front line of war
They fly helicopters and war jets
I THINK we have women SEALS but I'm not sure

What am I missing that a woman can't do in the military??
