of course women get broken hearted , we aint made of stone , we just have a better support group and openly share our feelings , we talk more than men so we get to off load it all . no point dwelling on someone if its over , whats the point , just holds u back .

i suppose that 'recovery time' would also depend on the individual, and what inner resources they have, levels of awareness, and their ability to be love (which i believe involves both self and other compassion).
it can be as simple or as complex as one wishes...
i think just 'feeling' your feelings...acknowledgement and acceptance...goes a long ways to finding inner peace and happiness after a relationship has ended.
and while i'm going on about it....
i don't agree with term, 'recovery time' which implies some kind of repossession or return, and disregards expansion....as i believe life is a collection of experiences, each having their value, independent of such a fallible measurement as time.
