Women are always more easily moved to tears, it does not mean that they care more, just that they get something out of drama and wallowing.

After thinking about this one, I think men recover although not quickly perhaps faster then women.
But again it depends on the person and the circumstances. Men tend to be grief stricken for a while and do grieve the passing of a love, but most men accept the situation and go hunting.

You have a point there however, while they want a leader and a warrior to fight their battles they still want their warrior to show compassion to them. I think women today are becoming a lot tougher and they want to hear themselves roar because they are tired of men and tired of being victimized by them.
Yet foolishly they set themselves up for it.
Many are drama queens but they like it and it's their way sometimes to manipulate men to get what they want. A man is to be wise enough to know the difference. Men likewise are not without drama.
Yet if you want them to have their way with you you have to bend for them to get the prize.

There have been a few studies that suggest that men don't develop the same social support network over the years that women do. So most times when a man becomes a widow, he loses his best friend, and his love, without anyone to understand his loss. He must then go out into the world to establish new ones. Whereas most women have a support system already and when they become widows there is help and comfort to share their grief.
That being said - there are so many types and kinds of love in so many degrees and intensities that each individual (man or female) feel it uniquely - where one way is not greater or less than another.

I see your point Jean I am glad women have this sort of support in times of stress, men to have to strike out on their own, I am just suggesting for this very reasons men strive to form new relationships. But the question is unanswerable in a way because of the many variables that exist in real life.

No, it's just illustrative that we're less egotistical. Men generally don't find themselves fascinating and aside from that we're more shallow and transparent, it doesn't take that much to figure out men so long as you have the instincts above the level of a bird sitting in the middle of the road.

Basically you can understand this by acknowledging that fact that whilst womens emotions are more impulsive and visible(therefore superficially stronger), they are also more fickle.
A woman's love is love itself, not the object of her love, it is a selfish love. Women rarely die on the battlefield, they seldomly have ever sacrificed themselves for their beliefs, they do not go down with the ship to save room on the lifeboats for men. A woman's duty is to love, and love is her desire. When the desire is gone, she can be as cold as if she had never known you. As cold as only sociopaths amongst men could ever be.

most men move on quicker i think , alot of men just cant seem to appreciate their own space n feel they have to be with someone to be complete , where as women dont , i for one love my own space after a break up means i dont bring baggage into new relationship . everythings ends its just the way you handle it , u can either go about whinging and feeling sorry for yourself or you can just go and have fun , enjoy life and forget it ever happened .
