Are you referring to actual home cooked or something one pops into the microwave to heat up? Or processed foods where the labels contain wording that is over a foot long and is a mouthful to pronounce.
Cooking to me is when you buy the raw ingredients and actually cook from scratch.Plus you have no doubt what's in it.

As cooking is my hobby I am quite passionate about it, my present friend (female) also enjoys cooking, so I must try to be unselfish and share when we cook for friends.
It is much more economic cooking for yourself and you can ensure all ingredients are fresh, and do not contain additives or pesticides.
As I said my hobby is (creative cooking) when I am creating she stays out of the way, but is an honest critic.
So my answer is yes and no
