Personally I cant make up my own mind which I am ..... Sometimes I`m one type, and then another day I`m something else ..... its my chameleon-like personality I guess?!

Strange that you should mention drums. yes I do play bodhran. I seem to be able to manage rhythm, but can't for the life of me, remember sequences for notes. Languages too need good memory and I forget too easily, to know more than a few words or sentences in any language. Maybe languages and musical skills come from the same part of the brain........

I cannot really make up my mind, either, I am responding on how I feel today, tomorrow, I could be completely different....
If I ask my dad to divorce my lovely stepmother, I would send him in your direction, just so I could listen to your ramblings and talk with you...
You could marry my dad, there are not many I would say that about.

I'm dumb and stupid....when they feed me properly, and let me out of my box once in a while, I have my moments in the sun....but these are the exception....Someone once told me, to be an artist, one had to suffer....well, my question is, how much does one have to suffer before they call you an artist??...heck, I'd rather be a fisherman...all you have to do is catch fish....you don't have to reinvent the Universe....

I have been lucky to take a degree in Spanish and live in Spain for a few years, then Italian sort of comes easy to me from knowing Spanish (common root) and living in Italy..and a little French from interest and travel. I am also a language teacher by profession..so I kind of spend time thinking about how to speak other languages.

Thank you Smoky... I guess that makes us part of a mutual admiration society...
The linguistic intelligence is probably the one I lack the most in... 5 years in Spain and I can speak like a two year old... with just enough words to deal with my distributors and staff...get what I need in the shops etc. having a proper conversation is still light years away for me... very frustrating!!!

Yes, I`m the same. Sometimes I try to ignore anything requiring the use of intelligence - and then when things are about to get out of control - I heave a sigh and call upon my intelligence that I keep buried deep and out of sight, and this amazing force arises and takes control and sorts everything out - and then retreats to its hiding place to slumber again.
Thanks for saying I could marry your Dad, but I think he sounds like a nice person, so do not wish that on him - rather let him stay married to your lovely step-mom........he surely deserves a peaceful existence!
