Say you take the Three Characteristics of existence from Buddhism,
the transitory/impermanence one,
the suffering/unsatisfactory condition one and
the none-self/causality one and reflect/contemplate /meditate upon these,
And only these
1 hour a day for each principle, 5 years
Think of everything in terms of these three characteristics
Then, will they not lead to wisdom and insight of things, in which you have no knowledge or capacity to deliberate, rationally and coherently, according to these three?

There is a twist. But I'm open to possibilities of mixing up.
But not on the idea that life can be seen as a dream. I think those who in their minds are at the place where they see consciousness as formless and blank, in which our ..daily lives flow through, see life as a dream susceptible.
The three characteristics is supposed to be planted in your mind and cultivate you into realizing this. But you don't need buddhism to read about this, buddhism is also about a man recognizing this from scratch.
I used them on purpose because they are supposed to be universal, meaning you can come to them from scratch, yourself, only by observing human nature and reality. And you can recognize them being a some-college criminology technology developer

Some people remember their dreams and document them, but most people don't remember their dreams, which make them not be able to appreciate or believe other people's.
Some dreams r able to divine the future or ways to learn from the past.
