I'm ashamed of Sandra.. She always could have done better..speaking for myself, i've had my tatts so long that i don't even notice them. although tatts are voluntary and scars aren't, the longer you know someone the less the outward appearance matters. if a man chooses to eliminate a woman because of tatts is doing the woman a favor. judgement starts with the visual.
Well, I have always struggled to understand as to why any man or woman would ever want to receive pain willingly (getting tattoos is painful, isn't it?) on their bodies

When I was living in the USA, I have seen some otherwise very "respectable" and "smart" women getting tattoos because they want to try something "new" in their lives, or just because their so-called boy friends had "dropped" them. oh..wow....I wasn't exactly prepared to answer such a question, but i would never suggest that it is a sign of low self-esteem if they do it to keep themselves "clean", and there is nothing wrong to keep our body clean and hygenic. Now, i don't know if having tattoos has anything to do with keeping "clean".Its just the fashion to have them these days. At least it's not a man covered in tribal tattoos, the equivalent of waxing your chest hair and drawing it back on with a pen.
