So I read, I have not had the opportunity to get to know him at all but at least we now know he eats food cooked by people for people

He is true gentleman and we had some fun and laughs.

Just a nice reminicse about the UK, and children and of course a talking about this place and what fun it is.

I meet a lot of Scandinavians here, but most of them are Swedish and I tend to avoid them... they have only misery in their minds. For goodness sake, they are on holiday!

The Norwegians and the Danish, they are such a different kind of people, they laugh and bring joy here.

So... me meeting with a countryman is not my biggest wish, while I have got more interested in my relatives lately and to know what they are up too.

Just meeting anyone outside work is a treat, it does not happen often here, a single man needs to stay home or he will be offered more than only simple friendly chats, I am afraid.

The first 24 hours I was here I got 4-5 clear invites... Spring in the air?

So, I have got some books, some magazines and of course work to keep me busy off working hours.

I lived in Denmark many years ago and I love the Danish, the Norwegians are fun too, great sense of humour, like our very own Oslo, superb.

I have not met that many Swedes, so I am reluctant to make a statement, I know how the rest of Europe see the Brits, although I have lived out of the UK for almost half of my 40 years now, not unusual for islanders to do that.

Work always gets me through, why I am there five nights a week until 1am.

Empty nest syndrome, no children at home any longer to be with, so I spend time with the ones in my care, never down for long with youngsters around.

That's the thing, my work does not talk back to me very well, when it is done it will lay at rest until next day 9 am. All I do is a little research, some experimenting but most of all I read.

I have found my morning café, an Italian place where I get fresh bread and great coffee every morning served by a cheerful guy that could have been a brother of Mano.

I should introduce them to each other coming to think of it.
