I find the body count around her somewhat bothersome...over 50, all somehow connected to her and her husband from Arkansas to their time in the Washington. Usually, the pattern has been once elected, the bodies start piling up; all or most from "accidents" of course...
I'd love to see a Black woman elected/ appointed as President...

Well. If really want to see how bad things can get, elect a democrat and you shall see. It's far to late to just pull and run from Iraq, so you know that they won't. Hilary has already stated that she can't say when the US will withdraw even under her democratic presidency. Now add things like national health care among many other things, and ask yourself who's going to pay for it?

I think those "Heads" are very likely more than ready for an attractive lady president.laugh (Yes, I once thought Hillary was pretty hot, in a Machiavellian way, of course.)

I'll be voting for the only candidate of conscience and integrity - albeit far less attractive - Ron Paul.

Does it really matter. When it gets right down to it. They are all politicians. None of them talk about what is really sailing US down the tubes.

1) Illegal aliens do not pay the taxes that legal aliens and citizens pay. Yet they use our welfare system, our roads, our hospitals and our schools.
a) abolish the national income tax and replace it with a national sales tax on everything including food and housing.

2) The BIS legislation is leading US companies to do research out side the United States. Do you think it is a coincidence that Intel, a $20Billion plus company designed their last product in Israel?

3) Lawyers are killing the country. The US has more lawyers per 100 people than any other country in the world.
a) Abolish parole. It is a proven fact that 80% of all crime is by repeat offenders, 80% of them on parole at the time they committed the crime (FBI report 2006)
b) Only in the US - if you sue me and lose do I still have to pay my lawyers, for my time and for the court fees. If someone sues someone in a civil suit than by god if they lose they should have to pay.
c) Only in the US are traffic fines considered a viable way for a city to make an income. Guess what if you can not pay that $1000 fine associated with a stop sign, you do not get a lawyer to defend you and you will go to jail.
d) Only in the US can you drink 3 six-packs of beer and get a warning while smoking a single joint can end you up in jail for 6 months.
e) Only in the US does the cost of the product have to be increased by 25% to cover liability costs.

Ahh the heck with it - you opened the gate with Hillary, so lets point out a few other things that our politicians dance around.

In 1996 a federal report showed that wind power along the southern coasts could provide over 25% of the nation's electrical needs through 2025.

The US is the only industrial nation that does not transport people effectively by train and bus. Actually its probably the only nation in the world independent of it being industrial or not.

We have the capability to produce biodiesel at the capacity to significantly reduce our foreign oil imports. Europe has been using Biodiesel for over 12 years. What does it take to convert a car to biodiesel if it runs on diesel? Hmm, draining the gas tank and fueling up with biodiesel. (I lived in Munich for two years - all of the Germans I knew admitted that they never drained the gas tank - just put the sticker on the tank and started using biodiesel) The US military is the largest user of diesel in the United states.

The only way to defeat an enemy is to take away whatever it is that enables them to fight. The war on terrorism can only be won by reducing the use of Foreign Oil by the United States.

When I hear Hillary or any of the others start talking about what really needs to be done to make the US competitive, than I would get excited. The US is already a 3rd world country, just no one wants to believe it. The Russians are gaining significant power and have the money from Oil and Natural Gas to continue through the next two years in growth while the US goes into a depression. China already controls manufacturing and now the BIS legislation is moving Research and Development overseas.

Well I guess you have to look at America as one of the last truely capitalist countries left in the world, which is fine be me and I am sure most American's as well, the problem is the democracy element has gone down the tubes.

When only 30% of the population is voting, there must be a feeling that all is lost. I predict that in this century you will see the US in Civil war yet once again. The rich and corporate interests are raping the country dry. They are not worried about supplying jobs and wealth to the middle and lower class anymore, and why should they? They get the poor countries of the world to do it for them.

That's what globalization is all about, they can get richer by never seeing the products, and sell them anywhere in the world at a profit.

Agree w/you about 90%.....but the drinking in Indiana is automatic jail for the night. The end cost can range from $4k to 6k...after court costs, fines, lawyers, insurance premiums...

To be honest, I'd put my business overseas where other countries are more business friendly. (that's from a business perspective) Besides, with all the environmental mandates, why not make stuff in China where there are no real controls on pollution. (and that's only one area)

The US is becoming less friendly to business....we have to expect them to leave...

Get a clue, she wasn't being forgiving to him, she just didn't want to give up the power of the co-presidency. The thing she was probably maddest about was that he got caught, she couldn't care less who he plays with cigars with.

So true. She was just along for the ride which would put her where she is today.

The only thing she stands for is herself in the White House by any means available.

She is qualified in that her husband was president and because she is familiar with politics and because she is a Senator in the state of New York; No president ever really has experience of being a president until they become president; the onlt exception might be former vice presidentrs who become presidents such as Gerald Ford.
