Yes, I did ask them. As I had first mentioned about .6%, only 7 of my good male friends have gone overseas. This doesn't represent a whole nation's way of life or reaction. After, reading tonight's comments and statistic from my poll; however, they affirm the general ennui towards the Western woman and re-enforce what my friends have already told me. The stats don't lie.

Well we have plenty of single women here in Ireland and all are welcome to come over and try and woo us.

If you want love in your life from men or women then give it. There are lots of lovely people from every nation and a lot of selfish ones also. I see these polls as being very self centered as if people are really that different because they are thousands of miles away. When it comes down to it human nature is the same world wide over.

This is called "Projection" in doctor's terminology. Unfortunately, women have become aggressive from what has happened to them and this is a crying shame because women are the most precious aspect of life, in my opinion.

It's always wise to have the ability to support oneself if things go wrong. There are many women who look for commitment, but don't find it-especially in time to have children.

I raised my daughter to believe in herself. If her husband had a accident and could not make a living, she should be able to provide for herself and her family. It would be ashamed for her to lose the love of her life because of money.

When a woman has an income there is no alimony. If a man marries a image, who will make him look good, he will pay for it. If he marries a partner then the bills and the income will be equal. He will not be paying through the nose.

sorry that's not entirely true. there is the concept of imputed income and if one spouse is not working at the time of divorce what her ability to earn should be taken into account. for example, if she has a degree and has worked at a certain level in the past but quit or lost her job before the divorce that needs to be considered. otherwise, everybody would just quit their job and say look at me i need spousal support.
