A blind date is cool if you know summit about them (a friend of a friend) but I wouldn't meet someone unless I felt sure they were my cup of tea.

Would under certain circumstances,hey meeting from here not much different. I would have to know his full name,where he live,phone no.,have talked at least a few times,and it would be a daytime in public date,meeting there in our own cars.

I have met some interesting people on blind dates. Isn't the internet the ultimate blind date? How do you know who you are talking to is real. I have seen plenty of sites that put up fake profiles of women to suck people in.

It would depend on who is setting it up. I would hope who ever set it up is clear on the situation. Sometimes its just innocent and filling in an empty seat so to speak. It doesn't have to mean either of you are interested or looking.
