I have my original email address, haven't checked mail there in over a year now. I have my main email address, I use that one all of the time. I have an alternate email address that I had to set up once to send myself something. And I have a business email address. Personally, I feel I have too many.

Altogether 3, and I consider that to be the absolute minimum:
one at work, one at home (personal) and one temporary for all the website registrations etc which will soon end up totally spammed.
