Well I used to go for a walk along the beach, and maybe paddle in the water, too. But now back in London what am I gonna do to relieve stress?

Hottub on the backporch... a good long soak leaves me feeling like warm tingly jello from top to bottom. It's wonderful!
Just need cold weather to really enjoy the thing... I hear it's headed my way later this weekend. Will be getting tub ready for it later this evening.

Usually I meditate or take a walk on one of my favorite nature trails. The other things I do are put on some of my favorite music and play my djembe with it, or put my hands in soil in my garden.
I used to handle stress with alcohol and cigarettes, but I've come a long way, Baby! And I'm happier, and much more at peace these days than I've ever been in my life.

tstone61: to release stress I take a ride on my motorcycle through the country side checking out nature .In IOWA its FALL the trees are in full color this time of the year, very relaxing .

dotyclae: That sounds fabulous, but most of the time I pretty much stick to the whole "working out my frustrations at the gym" thing. It keeps me fit and an added bonus is that I am less likely to physically assault someone since I'm too exhausted to do anything!;-)

it is a bout a year that i do not smoke.so a long walk may work.also it depends on the cause of stress

Oh wait... I did have company in it back in 2001 as I recall. She was cute, too. Been a long long time though since.

I eat lots of donuts, then when they sugar wears off I am really tired and forget about being stressed out because I will need a nap then.
I listen to the fabulous voice of Andrea Bocelli, there is something about his voice that makes me forget the day's stresses.
