Saw both play ................. Beckham gave his heart to Utd as a young player ............ Ronaldo could have gave us a lot more, i felt he held back, so maybe it is my heart ruling my head N but i think we got better football from Beckham .JMO

Interesting point and i think you could be right. Ronaldo might be a better player but yeah there was no questioning Beckham's passion for the club. I wish i could say the same about Ronaldo though

I have only seen three out of the four play live and I have to say Cantona was the best i have ever seen out of the three. I never got to see Georgie Best play live but what i have seen on tv, he was amazing. I do think one player not on this list deserves a mention though. Bryan Robson was a class player in his day.

Would have rated Cantona first as I thought he was just magical the way he could change a game but having seen footage of Best he was up there with Maradona and Pele ,,,,exceptional.

A number of years ago, i.e. a long time...
Some charity match, great retired players against the curent (at the time) Man Utd team.
Best had the ball, and was coming towards 2 players, as they're looking at him, he dribbles it past them and keeps going. They stared at him, then turned towards him and started clapping...
what a loss of such great talent.

I have to say of that list it would have to be Best. I know I'm no United fan, but I would consider it an insult to even attempt to put Beckham and Ronaldo in with Best and Cantona.

I disagree. Beckham played some great football for united, won many trophies with united and even helped us win the European cup in 1999. Ronaldo scored got World Player of the year and European Player of the year, won a few trophies with united and even scored 41 goals in the season he helped us win the European Cup in 2008. Ronaldo may be a petulent little child sometimes but you have to admit the guy was and still a fantastic footballer. Cantona was arguably the best number 7 we had but unfortunately he never won the European Cup with united so many could argue that Ronaldo and Beckham played a bigger part in United's history.

and if thats the case ronaldo wins hands down,
the stats will back that up,
dribbles shots on target goals assists ect,
also hes the best professional of the lot of them hes twice as fit as any of them,
i dont like the guy but hes the best footballer followed by best,
now best personality and best loved was king cantona,
what a man
