curiousgeorge2: OH BOY !

YOU do have just a small glimpse of History dont you ?

YES the British did Capture a German sub earlier in the war,

which had a 3 Dial, enigma code Machine. U-505, was captured

LATER, in the war to get the newest machine, it had 4 dials because the code breakers in ENGLAND, needed one to read there traffic. so, both, were important.

HOWEVER,.........having SAID that, let me point something else out to you. Grand Admiral DOENITZ, HELPED the ALLIES with
his insistance, at so much RADIO traffic to his boats, and he refused to think the ALLIES smart enough to be reading his TRAFFIC.... ANOTHER GREAT,...... GERMAN mistake.

Yeah mate, no worries, the british got the enigma and stopped the wolf pack but what's your question?

NO, let me help you out a bit,

the Germans Did field test a nuclear weapon 3 times. in 44 (late )
& 45, I dont really know why the CIA kept it a secret for 60 YRS but recent declassified documents show that the Germans did in fact do so. the Russians also had files in the KGB Vaults that showed this to be true. and, there are witnesses, the Germans also used about 500 Russians POW's to test the effects of that radiation after the blasts. ( they ALL died.) WAR, is a Terrible business. but it will never stop.. even when MAN is long gone,
Animals will still fight forever.

curiousgeorge2: well, its in the history books now My friend. to late to stop it now. I wasnt there, HELL, I wasnt even Born till 1963, I have no stake in this what so ever, I have no reason to lie to you.
LOOK it up, you can find it, of if you like Ill go and copy & paste the references and e mail them to you.

the bottom line is this, they couldnt make it a weapon in time to use it. THAT is the most important thing here. BUT YOU really should try a little research, YOU might be amazed at what you will find.

KIWI,

the CIA, picked up where the OSS left the stage, YES the files where originally in the hands of the OSS, but,...... there were later the property of the CIA.

But just think about this, IF, they had had the V2 & the Bomb,
what kind of a world, would we be living in now ?

The American Soldier. Followed closely by the UK Soldier. Next year, I will put the UK soldier first.

Think what this group of men and women have done in the world the last several years. Took down Sadam. Ended the Taliban rule in Afghanistan. Disrupted terrorist attacks of alQeada and other groups.

ogdensburgbabe: Maybe so..but whether you agree with their policies or not, they were strong leaders in times of war and conflict and did a better job than some of the current Irish leaders..

So there!!

Let me guess, is he referring to Tony Blair here, not a real dog? If so, I retract my last answer.

I'll vote for Opal and Jet, my two dogs, instead. laugh help

Honest, it's not a dye-job, my hair was naturally brunette (now it's naturally salt and pepper). I swear those aren't blond hairs coming in, they look silver in the mirror! rolling on the floor laughing
