p1259: my reason for creating the poll is because i would like to know if anyone has had the bad experiances i have had because of those words i don,t have a boyfriend but i have a friend. might not be able to out run the next guy jealous friend.

Hurting people hurt people. There are millions of women and men walking around hurt and afraid (Shame, guilt and want to protect themselves). The funny thing is they all think they are ok and that they are over their past relationships that caused the hurt. In reality what they have done is either lock those hurts in the basement or attic of their minds and heart.
They then walk around wearing masks in a fragile state looking for the next person to take away the hurt. They are yet to realize that they have to make the choice to burn and bury those hurts and start from zero with the next person seeing that new person only.
They need find God's love, love themselves and get free of hiding.

OneKitty: I don't know. Maybe it's because the relationship is not a commited relationship. Maybe the woman wants to be in a committed relationship but her "friend" does not want that. So she is letting you know she sort of has a friend, but is open to having a boyfriend instead.

Well if she would have a "friend" I'd pass this kind of a woman, cos how can I trust her - - - - I don't mind "her" having a friend, but then the only option as far as me would go, is to be friends with her, with out the bonuses, I found my self in this situation couple of times, and simply put, it was a turn off for me completely - - - -

onemoretry63: I use the Term Friend because I have Male Friends..to call them Boy Friend would be giving the wrong Picture..because with these Friends there is no Relationship that put them into a "Boy friend" Catagory..there are Men I get along with great we share common interests but neither of us would consider the other anything else but Friend simply because to each other we are not the type we would Date

Men can be the same way. It all has become a big mess. But it become simple if you avoid these people. If you don't fall for their games, just don't begin a game with them at the start.
You can really figure out the better guy from the player.
I believe that loyalty and death do us part exists and real love is around.
Sometimes, you have to find the right ones and forget about the actors. Even if it means not dating, guez, being with friends that are women and men is much more fun. You feel better about everything because you know they care about you. The player doesn't get attached to someone good. Having fun with friends is better than a bad date where you are fighting off a octupus.
Also, finding someone with the same interests and way of being raised. If they have been raised where there is no structure and no rules, they will continue with that way of thought.
Forget the bad boy! We always have a gut feeling if we state getting bad vives about a guy. We have to listen to them.
They will guide you every time.
