Onlyguy: I’ve never witnessed what you’re saying but I've seen some black women with their heads completely shaved and it really suited them; they looked great.
Like me. LOL! hahaha. Well I am not completely shaved but I had it all cut off about 2 weeks ago.
Venusruled: Glad you are doing well, Charli! These days if I see a woman with no hair I sort of assume she is undergoing treatment. Which is kind of weird of me, I guess. I can't imagine going through what you have come through.
I personally think that it is a subject that should be approached with some sensitivity....
Although some might take that step as a fashion statement, I do know women who have shaved / lost their hair through treatment from chemo, trauma, stress etc.....

daterhere: You know a woman for years,,,she is your friend, your relative...she always had long hair...and now she comes up with a shaved head! What would be your first reaction?
A cousin of mine did exactly that, she had thick long hair and then decided to go shave it all off. Thankfully she was already a very attractive girl so it did not look bad on her. Bald does not suit everyone though.

I've had my head shaved for almost 10 years and never got asked any questions to my physical or mental health - at least not in my face. It was my personal way of dealing with the fact of getting far to much attraction based on my appearance. I needed to find out what's beneath my package and whether I could attract people sincere interested in me and not the package. After having shaved my head bold for the first time a completely new world had opened up for me - Sensations and a sensuality never before experienced. As for the attraction from the opposite gender - I started to attract a completely different kind of men and had the time of my life. For me personal it was my way to become real and to stop putting up a mask (hair). There's really nowhere to hide if you're bold and it's maybe that strength of being in you power that putts off the hairy folks? My mother had lost all her hair via cancer so I'm aware of the difference between being bold by choice or against it. I'm very attracted to bold people of both genders special if they've the face for it and to keep my hair is often a struggle.. missing the wind and all the amazing sensations not to talk about making love bold with bold
(I'm 3 months out and only have about 3/4" growth back - but was bald - and yes people stared and made comments! ... but I didn't care ... because I'm a survivor and I lived thru it all.)
Congratulation to you my grand son is out of chemo now for a while he was 3 now 9 and what a fighter.Doing well, his wasn't cancer brain tumor but treated the same it affected his right side but today is walking and has some use of his hand. I'm glad your doing well, God Bless.
daterhere: @ Angelin...what kind of men did you flert with before you shaved your head...and what kind after? would you shave your head again?
Same types just more successful ones.. Artist, photographer and musicians. I feel I pass on that one. Challenging enough as it is to be part of the Balinese community AND way to sunny here!

i am also glad your grandson is doing well. Cancer can be dehabilitating experience both physically as well as spirtually. As an EMT I have dealt with a few cancer patients its a heartening humbling experience. I Hope your grandson does well, wish him health and prosperity.
