I would be uncomfortable dating someone way older or younger than me. We would probably be at different stages in our lives. As for you and your girlfriend though, if you two are happy, then who cares what other people think? When I see someone really young dating someone a lot older, I have to wonder if they are dating them for their money or something? Of course some people can truly see past age and make it work for them.

I'd guess most of the guys will say age doesn't matter, most of the women that it does, even though they may like toyboys themselves. At the end of the day, if you're both getting what you want and need out of the relationship, even if it's for seemingly uninspiring reasons like money, blast of youth, ego boost or whatever, then it doesn't really matter, as long as both people understand what's going on.

As long as you can get what you want from her and as long as she can get what she wants from you, both of you give and gain, then
that's already been fair, equil, a very good business that benefit both of you.

Fair play to you. There are many Western people that have young Asian girlfriends. This story has just come out here in England & i have to say i don't agree with fathering a child at 76 by any means as the father will obviously not be taking his 8 year old son to the park & playing Cricket or football ( soccer ) with him will he ?
Dennis Ealam has come forward after 74-year-old Gerry Burks claimed the title of Britain's oldest father last week.
Mr Ealam actually became the oldest father in Britain back in December, after his 36-year-old wife Cora gave birth to daughter Jessie in December last year.
The couple already have a one-year-old son together, leading to Mr Ealam claiming Mr Burks was merely a 'whipper-snapper'.
Both fathers are retired lorry drivers and live just 25 miles from one another in Lincolnshire.
It wasn't planned, but we're very happy,' he told the Daily Mail. 'I've always kept myself fit.'
Mr Ealam puts his fertility down to a clean lifestyle, after giving up drinking and smoking in 1984.

this topic comes up frequently. I have friends of all ages, and I don't think much about it. Certainly I would only date mature men.
Some men seem to like women my age some don't - IDK - if some guy doesn't like me cuz of my age - well I am sure he will find someone else - but obviously it won't be me.
In my honest opinion, only a fool would overlook the chance to love and be loved because of an age difference - again, assuming both are mature adults.
With the age difference you are asking about for ur self - if I were you I would examine it closely as 22 is pretty young. But u are both happy? - that can be so hard to find in life. I would not walk away from happiness myself. I am not that stupid.
