Here’s more change to believe in!

Well folks, here is another well thought out plan by our clueless leader along with his democratic dummies. Now a company cannot provide a benefit to you without you being taxed on the value! How do you like that?? I would suggest we all get this kind of nonsense out to all our employees and friends before the November elections….this means that if a wage earner is in a 20% bracket and our benefit is valued at around $14,000/ year and reported on their W2 forms, they will pay an additional $2,800 in income tax as a result. Wonder how many of them realized how they were being screwed when they voted for this idiot and his selection of fellow derelicts!!! Don’t forget to vote in November.

Starting in 2011 (next year folks) your W 2 tax form sent by your employer will be increased to show the value of what ever health insurance you are provided by the company. It does not matter if that's a private concern or Governmental body of some sort. If you're retired? So what; your gross will go up by the amount of insurance you get.

The dollar value (cost of what the company pays for your insurance) will be considered income and added to your gross pay. You will be taxed on the total.
> You will be required to pay taxes on a large sum of money that you have never seen.
> Take your tax form you just finished and see what $15,000 or $20,000 additional gross does to your tax debt. That's what you'll pay next year. For many it also puts

You into a new higher bracket so it's even worse.

This is how the government is going to buy insurance for 15% that don't have insurance and it's only part of the tax increases.
> Not believing this I researched the summaries and here's what I'm reading:

On page 25 of 29:
> TITLE IX REVENUE PROVISIONS- SUBTITLE A: REVENUE OFFSET PROVISIONS-

(sec. 9001, as modified by sec. 10901) Sec.9002. "Requires employers to include in the W-2 form of each employee

The aggregate cost of applicable employer sponsored group health coverage that is excludable from the employee’s gross income."
> Joan Pryde is the senior tax editor for the Kiplinger letters. Go to Kiplinger’s and read about 13 tax changes that could affect you.

Number 3 is what I just told you about.

As an employee in the UK you expect to receive a salary commensurate with the work that you do. This is subject to Income Tax above a certain threshold, and you will also be required to pay National Insurance Contributions which are put towards benefits like the Basic State Pension. However, you may also be entitled to other benefits that are not part of your salary. These are known as ‘benefits in kind’.

Benefits in kind can be varied and wide-ranging. Some of the most common of these benefits include a fuel allowance and company car.

Contributions to schemes such as private medical insurance also qualify as benefits-in-kind.

I am sure that other countries other than the UK also have these B-I-K's taxed and it appears to me that Obama is revolutionising your tax system.

B-I-K's are a way where companies deduct these costs before they pay tax on the company profits and therefore the Government were losing out on revenue, that's when they decided to tax the recipient of these B-I-K's.

Guess that health package that was offered to the public is still free, huh? If you were one of the people who voted for this guy or wanted the "FREE" health insurance, make sure you pat yourself on your back when you taxes go up and your paycheck goes down next year.

"Les frères qui rap tout".

A french play on words that can mean either
"the brothers who rap about everything"
or
"the brothers who seize everything"

In the video the various agencies of the socialist state in France are compared to vampires who drain the economic lifeblood out of the population.

I won't bother translating all of it, but it details all the different taxes and other ways by which the government takes people's money.

At the end the victim dies and the vampires express their sympathy for the sad demise, but then they add, "In your greif over the death of your loved one, don't forget to pay your inheritance tax."

Here's the issue in a nutshell.

Nobody works for free.
No matter how you get healthcare, you will have to pay for it.

Let's say that you go to the doctor and his fee is 10 dollars.

If you are acting as an individual you pay the 10 dollars.

But if you have health insurance, your premiums must not only pay for the doctor, you must also help support all the costs of the Insurance company with it's rich executives and salesmen and staff and shareholders.
The same visit will cost at least 20 dollars.

And if you have national government run health insurance,
you pay for the doctor, the massive health insurance administration, a share of the cost of providing healthcare to everybody in the entire nation, and the cost is higher still because the government is always the least efficient of any sort of organization.
The same visit will cost you 100 dollars.

And if the healthcare budget loses money they will cut corners by giving inferior healthcare.

Not like you can't still have an opinion about whether it's right or fair.

Personally, I think if you're going to tax income, benefits should be included in that. If its your choice to opt out of company insurance for a high wage, and you want to buy your own, it's a wash. Your increased wages get taxed instead of your benefits.

The benefits you receive from employment are part of your income.

Here’s more change to believe in! the "trick" for retired citizens in the U.S. is to have no more than 25000.00 a year (or 50000.00 if a married/civil union couple) coming in AFTER TAXES. I don't know why this is the 'magic' number. Also, it varies by area, but the tax-lot value of real-estate is factored in, as well. One may work for taxable income outside of these variables, but it becomes touchy as the margins are foggy and one can find they are working basically for 0. (you make a dollar, they take a dollar)... Believe it or not, there are a considerable number of people who figure out how to do it exactly right and come out in fairly good shape.

Would you like to take a look of what is going on regarding to Taxes-Benefits-Risks around the globe?

In Mexico we would not mind paying higer taxes as long as we are safe to go everywhere, everytime, to work.... I can no visit some wonderful places in my own country by myself because of the risks of it.

We get charged for every peso we make, does not matter if that is to cover a health plan or even to send to a private school our children, what we do is to hire a good accounting person (which is not expensive here) and make deductions and pay the least according to the laws for taxes.

(For us, in order to take deductions form expenses like food and some services, they have to be done only outside 60 km from your address!! )

For one thing sure we agree is, that goverments every where MUST cut down in their tremendous expenses and they should review and correct the subsidies in all sectors.....etc. etc. and the salaries and benefits that politicians have is obscene too and the list can go on and on.......

Exactly!!!!

And part of the mechanism by which they accomplish that is the phony American 2 party system that bounces the blame back and forth like a ping-pong ball. The administration leaving power is always "bad", the administration taking power is always "good", but both parties do the same evil things, they start or prolong evil wars, they impose evil taxes and evil laws that rob the people of their wealth and their freedom.

The phony 2 party system pretends to represent the entire spectrum of political thought, but actually it represents only a single, extremely narrow viewpoint. Both parties pursue the same agenda and that agenda involves robbing and enslaving the populace.
