The internet has created a pretty immature and spineless society. People blow off others through text like it's going out of style.
Richard Jefferson, an NBA player did this to his fiance days before his wedding. He then hid out and wouldnt' talk to anyone.
There is even a website that will tell them for you; it's pretty pathetic.
People need to man up and stop being jerks. If you break up with someone; unless your safety is at stake, you tell them in person.

THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST PAINFUL...WHEN THEY PROMISE TO NEVER LEAVE YOU 1000 TIMES, THEN DON'T EVER EXPLAIN THEIR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE RELATIONSHIP BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT YOU TO EVEN TRY TO FIX IT...WHEN YOU CATCH THEM CHEATING COMPOUND THIS BETRAYAL WITH A NOTE THANKING YOU FOR BEING SUCH A GOOD FRIEND TO THEM AS THEY SNEAK OUT OF THE HOUSE WHEN YOU AREN'T HOME TAKING ALL THEIR CLOTHES...SHE/HE/I MAY NEVER GET OVER IT...EVEN WHEN THE CHEATER HE LEFT ME FOR SHOT AND KILLED HIM IN A MURDER/SUICIDE FOR DOING THE SAME TO HER... ok last post need to get to bed lol, never really had that problem yet usualy they break up with me cause i didnt give them enough , they wanted more money , take advantage of me yikes... 
Dagosto: Don't tell them anything. Let them figure it out for themselves. In the meantime you get the best of both worlds.
