Where do you live? City, suburbs or country? Do you have a balcony? Do you have a veranda? Does it have a rocking chair? Do you have a view? Do you have a garage? Is it still filled with crap?
I live on the outskirts of a large town in a 3 bed semi. I would like to live nearer a beach, (although I am only 15 mins away from one by car now), in something that has a lot of glass for walls.

Merriweather: Awwwh... sounds wonderful... I live in a house... just an ordinary house in a cul de sac in a valley with lots of gum trees...
I'd like to live elsewhere tho... ( just chuckin that in for good measure..) cheers.
Hey MW You have a happy, friendly face, you look like the sort of person who I'd want for a neighbour!...So if I had to choose another place to live it would be next door to a nice person like you!
Stop it, you two! We have enough frustrated lesbians around here as it is!

SHERRY50: I live on a winery, in a double storey cottage, which is in the middle of a forest and on a salt water river...Ahhh the serenity!
Aaah the fishing!
This sounds like where I would like to live or on the beach in Southern California would be nice too.
In real life, I am fortunate, for I live in a single family ranch style home, 3 bedroom, two bath. I actually love it because it has high ceilings and is light and bright with a three car garage. I am now refinancing to achieve a 4.75% interest rate instead of the 6.063% that I was paying. One thing I do wish....That I had a smaller garden and yard, because it requires alot of tending.

Ginger what is a three bedroom semi mean? The semi part is what is confusing.

I live in a very tiny apartment built under a big house. Nothing spectacular, but I'm in a very pretty, quiet neighborhood and I am within walking distance to three or five or so tropical beaches ! I have banana, mango and papaya trees all around the house.
My dog seems to like it here. Oh, time for me to take him to the beach now...gotta go

I live in a lovely house, double brick, tiled roof, solar hot water, 3 bedrooms upstairs, 1 downstairs, 3 complete bathrooms, it is near a large coastal town in southern New South Wales. Its just a suburb in a country town.It sits on cliffs so you can walk to the end of the street(50 meters) and overlook a bueatiful river. The other side of the deal is a I share it with my 3 kids and one of their partners plus 1 dog lol DJ.

Hi Sherry
Guess the time and water restrictions hit you too...
Cheers.. and BTW... no not in Aus... I have thoughts of living abroad almost on a daily basis... Jeez.. bad huh !!!
I live in a 3 bedroomed semi-detached house with a garage full of junk. Time for a car boot sale! On the outskirts of the city. Dont have to go to far to get to the city or in another direction nice countryside and nice coastal areas. By the way, Joyanne, a semi means semi-detached. Its attached to another house on one side but not the other side!
I live on the beautiful sunny island of Cyprus in an area which has only been developed over the past 10 years...
My home is situated on a small, peaceful development just 2 minutes walk to the sea and about 5 minutes drive to a lovely little fishing harbour, and various lovely beaches scattered around within a 10 minutes drive...
I own a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom detached villa which sits on a plot of about 450sqm with driveway parking for 4 or 5 cars...
I do not like confined spaces so my villa is very light and airy.... two sides of the outer wall area are floor to ceiling glass panels. The living are is open plan, modern minimally furnished with all glass tables and leather sofas and chairs...
venusinsilk: I live in a barn conversion in the heart of the Somerset countryside. And I HATE it.
Hey Venus... I don't know Somerset, but my sister and her husband have been living in Chard, Somerset for the past 7 years, and I have been dropping the biggest hints ever trying to encourage them to come and live in Cyprus..... and they just wont budge!
venusinsilk: I'll come instead. Chard is just a few miles from me.
Unfortunately, these days you need bags loadsa Euros to live in Cyprus.... so get that barn on the market and come on over... lots of property bargains here though to rent or buy...
