Yes people have come back who have been clinically declared dead. There are several books written by doctors on this subject which I am sorry I can't remember the names but I believe one of them is called life after death.

Ok point taken, now I understand where you are coming from, and your logic paths. I don't know if there is life after death. I wish it could be proved one way or the other. I think the more important issue is whether a belief helps people to cope with this life. I wish I had one.

I do not beleive in the concepts of heaven and hell.
I beleive that when we leave this life we go on and it will be something that we are not capable of understanding or even imagining now.

These are very salient points but I think those who believe in facts can say they simply don't know.

We are all different,life is what you make of it, and what happens through our life, we can not control sometimes, but i also say because some does not believe in God or afterlife, it does not make them a bad person, they just simply don,t believe
Near Death Experience research has pretty much convinced me that consciousness does move on after physical death.
There is much more circumstantial evidence pointing towards some kind of existence after death (as well as past lives) as opposed to that we just die and that's it.
I had a long discussion about this with my kids today. My daughter is really fascinated by this subject and asks all kinds of questions in which I am happy to answer her! My son on the other hand, has the logic of Spock, he said we'll know after we die haha!
