I have seen many, more stubborn, falling to his knees, for they had experiences in their lives they never had them. We all have a mouth to speak and also to eat.... And everything that comes out is what hurts us. Not what goes into it....

..for all we know...as is now being theorized...we may actually have parallel universes and other issues such as black matter and so on....things we still cannot understand with the present level of scientific knowledge humankind possesses.....
...and as Boban jokingly but correctly stated earlier.....energy cannot be destroyed...it can only be transferred....so following that line of thought....and considering we are pure energy in atom form....for all we know...that energy will transfer itself to something else once this dimension has done it's course....
...but then there is always the concept of consciousness....is that something that will be transferred to another dimension to?....
...I tend to say no.....it will not....it ends with the journey...
I feel that what we believe is not as simple as just choosing.
If you beleive something and then learn new info then what you beleive can change....and it's not a choice. Say that you beleived something and then went to see for yourself and it was not so. Now with new info you change what you beleive about that....you must. I know it's not a perfect analogy b/c faith/belief is not so much physical fact, but ideas.
So....with new info/knowledge you can change/evolve what you believe. This is why I listen and learn...so as to be informed and information is what drives my belief and growth/evolution of belief.

I agree but you can only use the facts we have now, not the facts we may have tomorrow, and human knowledge is progressive, no doubt our great grand children will laugh at our concepts, if they ever read them.
We must stop being used science as an excuse. We must analyze ourselves, but well inside. A human being can not live without hope. Sooner or later, we ended up looking up and calling someone greater than ourselves, and not exactly a man on earth....

Im gonna take an example from the days I was a pupil ... during the 80s My country was still a socialistic Country and the theory of evolution was the alfa and omega .They never told us that its got some missing links... links which could disprove this theory .Now what if there is some knowledge that isn`t available ,for some reason, to the majority ???
