Now this is strange......because only a week ago...this lad was imagery visiting a island off the China coast.....with three mountains on it. And a major rare earth shipping port.....with tons of rare earth in stock.
The mountains....one was in full production....one was coming into production....one was just being tunneled. Were producing all sort of rare earth metals.....and kinds.
So?
Will billions in costs to developing its rare earth programs.... both quarries and underground complexes in production...China is making a 1/3 cut in exports.
Why?
To increase price of rare earth metals is one reason. Like OPEC controlling the price of crude. China is reducing export to drive up price. With a 97% of the global market, China can afford to cut the export if prices increase by 35% or more.
But also....
These mountain complexes all had indications that they were going to be militarized. Hardened into nuclear reactor sites and reloadable vertical missile launchers...like was found in North Korea.
Maybe by outing the North Korean missile/reactor programs....has caused China to review it own missile/reactor program. To reduce it tunneling programs.
But I have a nasty feeling.....that is not the reason. But rather...with China already requesting a change to the global currency....from the dollar to ?...the rare earth export announcement was the first real shot in coming economic warfare
between China and the west.
