very true ...they say if you spill a little salt then you shud throw a little over your shoulder to ward off bad luck, its a habit i learned from my granny when i was wee, so i still do it now

I don't know anything about Feng Shui...but I do know the placement of certain objects in a room can sure make a difference...
A few years ago an ex-boyfriend and I stayed in a hotel, I walked in the bathroom and there was a very large mirror tucked in the corner over the toilet. I looked in the mirror and felt instantly fat. Then later my boyfriend at the time walked into the bathroom and I heard him say "oh my god, I'm fat"... I told him it was just the mirror and where it was placed, but it kinda set a mood for the rest the night.
A few years ago an ex-boyfriend and I stayed in a hotel, I walked in the bathroom and there was a very large mirror tucked in the corner over the toilet.
