Always wanted a tattoo, but then I think of all the changes that I've been through in my life. Like wearing bell-bottom pants, then they're out of style.

Never get anything just to be in style. I got mine because I wanted them. Not to try to impress.

That's like buying a Rolex watch and taping over the brand name.

dragonprince: Same as my friend Miss M no regrets, a lot of time and money was spent and I consider them to be my body art, the trophy's I have explain it all.
Dang I want a tattoo too... never could make up my mind where or what .... such a committment, it would be easier living with a man than deciding on a tattoo.
I always talk myself out of getting one. My grandfather got several tatts in the navy, his favorite thing to do with the hoola girl on his calf was make her dance for the grandkids.
The hoola girl don't dance anymore, she looks like she's got osteo's, all bent over and crippled up.
Makes me think to much about how any tatt I get ANYWHERE on my body will look in 40-50 years. That's enough to turn me away from it.

I only have 5....The last one is just a REALLLY BIG one.. My first memory of my grandfather is of sitting on his lap saying... Make her dance grandpa...make her dance.
At 50 years old,..I don't care what anyone thinks anymore. They are for me.. and whoever I choose to share them with
