lucynad: well, this statement seems to me to be some kind of an oxymoron...
basically, following the logic...
if one wants a real relationship it should be easier to find it in RL and viceversa...
There are so many people on this site trying to find a real life relationship. I suppose because it is easier for them. Noone normal would do things in the more difficult way if there is easier one at their disposal, would they?

i don't think it is easier to find a real relationship in this way...i actually think the opposite..
surely, the mean (internet) is very easy to access...
but the effective result of this easy mean is another cup of tea, in my opinion

RDM59: Perhaps a virtual slap in the face is much less painful than a real life one......
and, cyber wooing is much much cheaper ....

vyoleta: Virtual world = internet. You are on this site to find a real life relationship, yes? Why? Is it easier to find it here than in the world that surrounds you, where you live, work, walk, eat, meet people body to body, face to face, sending voices from your mouth directly into their ears...?
In this world,virtual/unvirtual..we can "hide"behind, who we think..?we are in fact virtually accepting the who,we wanna be!...due to the simple fact, that when you meet your virtual acquaintence,...that is not the person, you have virtually imagined..the person to be !!!
Food for thought: "Give yourself a little time to let your thoughts take wing for a moment now and then and let go of everything.Think of things that lie outside your day to day affairs beyond that little circle of your problems and cares. Do not fill each passing minute of your busy day, taken up food, clothing, pleasure work and play.Just make a quiet pause before the shadows start to fall and just think about the things that really matters most of all" It is after all, only YOU!!!!!!!!

Very kind of you to offer but I wouldn't travel that far for a date let alone a game of golf .....
Since my days are usually home-office-home I dont have the opportunity to meet many men in real life. I cant just stop men in the street and tell them I fancy them. Its the same in the office or in the gym or elsewhere...

Well I believe and it is so,, it's always easier virtually than real, real life is more real than ever and there is no way to hide real things that r real you.. Virtual world is easier for someone to show one part only... Good or bad..

I met my last partner on-line. We lived three miles from each other. There is no way our paths would ever have crossed in real life. (Even though it transpired he saw my neighbour on a regular basis in a business context).

Hi V....
Virtual world methinks is waaaaay harder..... Cos you see someone on the other side of the world you would LOVE to be with. or at least explore the possibilities.....But, you know it's impossible....
