I am not sure about your part of the world, but here in the U.S. women do get higher position jobs...and in politics. I think we may have our first woman president voted in this year.

But this transition is relatively recent...say in the last 20 years or so. I think women still get a paid a little less than men. This issue with lower wages is probably being corrected also...maybe lagging a little behind the progress of other areas concerning women.

Myself, if I cannot afford to buy it outright, I usually don't buy it...with the exception of college.


If somebody was buried up to their neck in credit card debt, it would raise an eyebrow for me.

Well CH....I did that for 13 years and I did not mind it. But I have learned a little since then. The two of you will need to maintain a sense of your own personal identity; therefore, not all decisions would need to be made together. So, sure....to answer your question. What about you?

Since I am able to provide for myself financially, I really do not need the money. If I found a "true" love, I think I would rather that.

However, I have given it some thought as to what I would do with all that money if I won it. First, I would pull 10 million out for myself....that should last me a life time. I would probably make all my friends and family millionaires....with a couple million each. The rest, I thought about setting up some sort of solar energy power plant and provide people with free electricity.

That is what I am starting to see here. But it seems as if when people change, they change 180 degrees....at least that major change is more common than I thought.
