Perhaps I should take some notes on how to be charming from you.

I think we as people have the power to lead the lives we wish. With what you said, I agree. It would be difficult to live a fairy tale life. But, if two people really love each other, I would think they could live a life close to a fairy tale.

It would boil down to what each person perceives a fairy tale life to be and finding somebody who compliments those thoughts and has the means to making it materialize each other. Each person in the relationship would need to contribute to the others' vision.

PJ...maybe not good timing. But as you stated, they started to fall in love with each other. There is never any timeline on true love, at least in my opinion.

It is sad that he fell ill and died...but they both had that deep spiritual connection with each other.

Hello PJ,

Say for example somebody place high importance on a certain thing...maybe finances/money....they can become so focused on that one particular thing that it may actually become an obsession.

If this happens, a person come become so fixated on making money that they miss the finer things that life is offering them on a day to day basis.

In addition, they may in fact become so concerned with money that they begin to worry about that money....thus creating negative feelings within themselves. This would ultimately cause them to have a unhappy life.

I could imagine high ranking people may become wrapped into money at one point or another in their lives.

Not to mention, high ranking people have a lot more weight to carry on their shoulders...usually from abnormally higher responsibilities.

There are famous people here in America who cannot just go out into public without being surrounded by many people who want to be close to them. I am not sure I could live a life like that.

Good story....and good lesson to be learned.

I agree with you. Drugs will not deal with the issue at hand. They will only mask the problem.

If he cannot deal with his anxiety/worry issue on his own, he is probably best to seek professional help. Nobody should experience life on an ongoing basis feeling that way. It makes it difficult to enjoy life with all its wonderful experiences. Again, drugs will help mask that too....life and its wonderful experiences.

....and I speak from experience.


That is just my opinion.

It is nice to hear that you had a pleasant pre-Christmas/Christmas gathering. I think that is nice when people make it special for both parents. These holiday times can get very complicated in such situations. My parents are also separated as well. As a sibling, I try and make it a point to give both special attention. :)

My plans for Christmas is to travel up north coming this Wednesday. I heard the weather down here in lower Mich is going to be in the 60's.... ....so no snow for Christmas down here. But, as of now, it looks like a winter storm is moving in for up north that day. ...going to have to leave early.

But, it should be a good holiday season up there. I didn't have enough time for Turkey Day to visit all my friends. I will be staying up there until after the new year...so, I should have enough time this go-round for all my visiting. :)

Eleggs, that is true. However, hopefully whoever gets elected here has the masses best intentions in mind. I hope as time goes on, the masses of people can identify which candidate that is and votes accordingly.

But Molly, you are right. It is kinda weird because Trump is suppose to be his own elite person. But, maybe he is not the right kind of elite that controls things. But then, maybe he is.

With the income disparity we have...I am kinda wondering why many are supporting putting some high-society person in power.

PJ...the U.S.'s economy is seeming to improve. I know you didn't ask about it... But, with the raising of the interest rates, maybe banks will loosen up a bit and start giving out more home loans. Housing market still currently a little slow here because banks are not giving out many loans.

L.L.....I agree. :) Need more dogs at the show. As long as Fito doesn't bite Princess Pony.
