Hi Lucy. Yes, you are right and you reminded me of when we went for a drive - he loved driving - he would take my hand and kiss it and then hold it until he had to let go. Probably not the safest way to drive but it was an automatic!

Willow, what part of Ireland are you going to - the 1950's? We don't do that any more in Ireland. There is a matchmaking festival in Lisdoonvarna each year but it is really aimed at tourists. Oh I'm sure there is the odd one still around but it is mostly dating sites that people use, just the same as this one. You should try going on the Irish forums and get to know some of the guys there. But you have to understand, you are not going to get to know anyone properly by email. You have to get out and date them. By the way, I met my man on a dating site and he was the love of my life.

Hi Aaltar. I enjoy a cigarette, although, I do wish I had never started smoking. I am not a heavy smoker and like you, I like the odd one now and again. I do find, that when I have a drink, I tend to smoke more. There is definitely a connection between the two. I have dated guys who didn't smoke. Some didn't like it and some didn't care. My late partner was an ex-smoker when I met him. It didn't bother him that I smoked.
Serena, If I was 92 and in a home and they told me to stop smoking and drinking, I would start a riot! Bloody cheek of them.
